The Tunnel (Canal+ Sky Atlantic)

Sky Atlantic and CANAL+ has commissioned critically acclaimed drama, The Tunnel for a second series.

The Tunnel 2: Debris reunites Stephen Dillane and French actress Clémence Poésy as unlikely Anglo-French detective duo Karl Roebuck, and his French counterpart Elise Wasserman.

Series 2 sees a passenger plane mysteriously crash into the English Channel killing everyone on board, Roebuck and Wasserman are sent to investigate on behalf of their respective countries. With the emotions and tribulations of their previous case behind them, the pair are once again thrust into a joint investigation which will test their unlikely alliance.

The Tunnel is a Sky Atlantic and CANAL+ co-production from Kudos and Shine France Films. Ben Richards (Spooks) returns as lead writer. Director Mike Barker (Broadchurch) and producer Julian Stevens (The Fall) join the second series production team.
