CITAZIONE Venus in Fur starring Natalie Dormer and David Oakes runs at Theatre Royal Haymarket
The hit play comes to London this autumn.
A new production of David Ives' acclaimed Broadway smash hit play Venus in Fur has been announced to run for a nine week season at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 6 October to 9 December 2017, with an official opening on 17 October.
Natalie Dormer and David Oakes will star in this new production directed by Patrick Marber, designed by Rob Howell with lighting by Hugh Vanstone.
Described as "an intoxicating dark comedy of desire, fantasy and the innate love of fur" it originally had its premiere off-Broadway at the Classic Stage Company in 2010 before transferring to Broadway in 2011. Director Roman Polanski adapted the play into a film in 2012.
"Enigmatic actress Vanda Jordan appears unannounced for an audition with director Thomas Novachek. She's determined to land the leading role in his new production - despite seeming wrong for the part. Over one evening in downtown Manhattan their charged meeting becomes a seductive dance to the end."
Directed by Patrick Marber, designed by Rob Howell and with lighting by Hugh Vanstone, VENUS IN FUR is an intoxicating dark comedy of desire, fantasy and the innate love of fur.

Oddio come sono contenta !! Mi piacerebbe tanto vedere David soprattutto in teatro, cioč a parte che lo amo perň sarebbe bello vederlo in azione sul palco. Comunque Venere in Pelliccia non č uno spettacolino facile, cioč non ho mai letto nč visto il film, ma lessi qualche critica quando uscě il film e mi parve dj capire che aveva qualcosa di Bertold Brecht.

Qui ci sono degli highlights della piece da Broadway con Hugh Dancy, č piů sassy/divertente di quanto mi aspettassi e Natalie Dormer ci sta proprio a bomba, mi spiace solo che anche David non abbia la chance di far ridere XD
